Dawson (born May 9th, 1979)[3] is an American actor and producer. Her feature
film debut was in the 1995 independent drama Kids. Her roles in subsequent
films include He Got Game (1998) and Josie and the Pussycats (2002). Dawson has
also provided voice-over work for Disney/Marvel, Warner Bros./DC Comics and
ViacomCBS's Nickelodeon unit.For her performance in Rent, Dawson won the
Satellite Award for Best Supporting Actress in a Motion Picture; for her role
in Top Five, she was nominated for the Critics' Choice Award for the Best
actress in a Comedy. Dawson was born on May 9 1979, in New York City. Her
mother, Isabel Celeste, is of Afro-Cuban and Puerto Rican ancestry. Isabel was
16 years old when Rosario was born. She didn't marry Rosario's biological
father, Patrick C. Harris. When Rosario was only a year old, her mom got
married Greg Dawson, a construction worker. Dawson is four years younger than
Clay. Clay is Dawson’s half-brother. Dawson is also known for her roles in
comic-book adaptations. The actress was Ahsoka Tano's character for The
Mandalorian's second season in 2020. The character will also be the protagonist
of the Disney+ original series Ahsoka. She also has a recurring part in the
Dwayne Johnson autobiographical comedy series Young Rock in 2021.
